What pleases us most are the gardeners who come back for the next trug, and the trugs used and kept for years. That is the sign that craft and care are worth something.

We make each trug to suit. The size, the wood and the use all matter. We advise and make what suits your garden and the job, honestly and without fuss.

We work by hand. Cleaving and shaving the boards, steaming and shaping the rim and handle, building and nailing the trug, step by step, with care. It is honest, absorbing work, and that is where the difference from a machine-made basket lies.
