What sizes do you make?
We make trugs in a range of sizes, small to large, so there is a trug for the job. We will advise on the right size.
Can you repair an old trug?
Usually, yes. Tired handles and boards can be put right. Show us the trug and we will advise.
How do I order?
Visit the workshop or write to us. For a trug to order we agree the size, wood and timing together.
What wood do you use?
We use cleft sweet chestnut for the boards and willow for the rim and handle, in the traditional way.
Do you make trugs to order?
Yes. We build garden trugs by hand from cleft chestnut and willow, in the size you need. Tell us the use and we will advise and prepare a quote.
Do you supply shops and makers?
Yes. We make trugs for gardens, gifts and makers, and advise on size, wood and use.
What does a trug cost?
It depends on the size and the work involved. Tell us what you have in mind and we will give you a clear price.
